Our Strategy: We send out a 3-question survey via text after every job. Once we have enough feedback, we'll post it here!
CTRL + ALT + DEFEAT was founded with a single mission: to provide the Hamilton and Galloway communities with a professional, local alternative to expensive big-box tech support.
We believe that tech support should be honest, affordable, and easy to understand. We specialize in software-based solutions that help our neighbors get the most out of their devices.
By choosing a local technician, you aren't just a ticket number. You are a neighbor. We pride ourselves on fast response times and personal service.
At CTRL + ALT + DEFEAT, we believe in transparency and professional standards for all our neighbors in Hamilton and Galloway.
Strict Liability Restriction: To prevent accidental hardware damage and maintain insurance standards, we **do not perform internal physical repairs** or replace computer parts (screens, motherboards, batteries, etc.). Our services are limited to software optimization, device configuration, and technical training.
If we are unable to resolve the software-related issue you described, you will not be charged for labor. This does not apply if the issue is found to be hardware-based (as we do not perform hardware repairs) or if the customer refuses recommended software solutions.
While we take every precaution, CTRL + ALT + DEFEAT is not responsible for data loss. It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure all files, photos, and critical data are backed up to a separate drive or cloud service before technical work begins.
For the safety of both parties, an official Service Agreement must be signed by the client before any work is performed. If the client is under 18, a legal guardian must be present to sign the agreement and remain on-site during the service.
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to: unsafe working environments, requests for illegal software installation, or equipment that is beyond reasonable repair standards.
